WHO IS THIS MASKED MAN????
We had to put this on to start this blog with, since we forgot it on the last blog. When we were in Japan. What a memory. Ken with his 3 moms, this is what they made him do since he was sick. Sue just loved it.
March 8: ZONE OVERSEER VISIT. He gave our KH dedication talk.
What a day that was! We received a letter from one of the Branch Committee members that day during our lunch with them. No time to read it, had to run to the dedication...then off to the Special meeting in Melaka 2 hours away. Guess what was inside???
A NEW ASSIGNMENT!!! Starting April 1. 3 weeks to pack! Our new assignment is Klang Chinese congregation. Yup, time to start learning a language.
All the M's at our meeting with the ZO at Bethel. We're all excited that 2 new couples are coming from Gilead. All was in a buzz, since so many changes were being made.
On to our Memorial. We had 113 in attendance! Last year we had 80. Excellent increase with 32 publishers. The whole city of Johor Bahru; all 6 congregations had a total of 702. Last year was 581. Things are moving so quickly. Another cong is planned for the city center starting May 1.
The 'M' couple moving into our home from KL will be starting a Tamil group. This is the greatest need right now in our cong. Especially since most of the students who attend the meetings need Tamil.
A picture of some of our students who came to the Memorial. Almost all of them made the effort to come.
Our final meal with one of our students. The Mom made a feast, banana leaf rice with curry that you eat with your hands.
Definitely one of the hardest parts, saying goodbye to our studies. Very emotional!! But we know they're in Jah's hands, His sheep.
Our last congregation picture. Happy to see it grow in the last year. Its been a great privilege and a big learning experience.
See you in Klang....
