Where are we?

We completed our new Kingdom Hall at the beginning of December.

We had 172 for our first meeting! We had a combined meeting with both the English and Chinese congregations. Our next big event is our dedication program which is next week Saturday March 8. Our Zone visit is the next day in Melaka.

Agnes and her family with her husband Chen on the end. Even though he can't really understand English or read Chinese he still comes to every meeting. Because he's a shift worker we're able to study about once a month. Last week on his study he asked me about why we don't pray to our ancestors. They have a very large altar in their living room. We shared a few scriptures about the condition of the dead and who really deserves our worship and respect. That very day he stopped praying and offering food to his ancestors! His wife told us he now only prays to Jehovah. God's Word truly has power!

This was out in the field for our special invitation campaign for the Open House.
Mr. Bean meets Indiana Jones!

After our KH project was finished we went to Japan with Ken's parents.
Here's a bottom floor view of the Tokyo tower.

One of the Japanese congs we visited in Tokyo. Photos are definitely serious business!

Don't you just love their uniforms! Sunday little league practice...

No shoes allowed in this tatami room. A floor made of straw.

WOW SUSHI GALORE!!!!

What a great feast our lovely hostess provided. At a beautiful beso ( Japanese second home, like a beach house) up in the mountains surrounded with orange groves.

The picture above is our room at the sisters house.

Up in the mountains at Hakone National Park with the ocean in the back drop.

CAN YOU SEE MOUNT FUJI?

Our last pioneer meeting. A few were missing, but still a great group. We have 14 pioneers with 36 pubs. Two rps are local sisters the rest of us are all foreigners.

A few weeks ago we did preaching work in unassigned territory about 2 1/2 hours from JB. The service group walking to get some lunch after a great morning out. The Umbrella troop is on its way...

Ken at the door with a brother visiting from Australia, checking out Malaysia to help serve. I think after that week they decided to come back.

The bookstudy we had that week with 3 bible studies in attendance. One sister comes into town a few days a week to work and conduct their study. There's a population of 180,000 people with the nearest cong over 2 hours away. There were 120 different pubs that came into help over the 2 weeks our CO was there. We placed over 600 mags and started around 50 Bible studies!
